Families and women preparing to give birth are sometimes overwhelmed with all the things they need to consider. That includes providers and professionals dealing with maternal health and wellness, both physical and mental. These resources are some of the most highly searched for and recommended.

Online Resources

Evidence Based Birth – A website that provides free information to families preparing for birth. They tackle the hot topics of birth with unbiased information and make birth research simple and accessible.

Spinning Babies – Classes designed with the physiological aspect of labor in mind to help with baby’s position and to ease labor.

The Miles Circuit

  • This series of positions is excellent at helping relieve pressure on the low back, and possibly turn a malpositioned baby if the pregnant woman is having back labor
  • It’s an excellent tool to use in early labor to help ensure your baby is in an excellent position, and the pregnant person gets to rest for the first part!
  • The circuit can be used to help regulate or speed up a labor that has gotten erratic or has slowed down.

Birth Injury Center
The Birth Injury Center provides education and referrals to local resources that may offer financial assistance, emotional support, and assistive technology and services. We also provide legal representation to help families recover damages from negligent health care providers.

Postpartum Support International – English and Spanish support, free online support groups
